Have you ever been lost in the grocery store as a child? If so, then you know that feeling way too well, right? Yup, the one when you have your back turned to your parents because you’re grabbing your favorite school snack, and when you turn around they’re gone. You frantically run to find them and panic. What we don’t realize at the moment is that it’s a lot easier for our parents to find us in the grocery store as opposed to somewhere else.
In the video below, you’ll see a little boy has lost his family at the beach. He doesn’t know where anyone is and that can be daunting because the beach is a massive place. Even for the parents, they’re not sure if their child perhaps wondered off outside of the beach area. It’s scary for everyone involved.
In this situation, however, the beachgoers around the little boy came together to help him find his mother. One man has the boy picked up, so he’s in plain sight of anyone that may be looking for him. The rest of the people are surrounding the two, and they’re clapping.
This idea is a brilliant way of attracting attention. People are bound to stop and see what’s going on, and if they’re far off, they’ll most probably make their way to the crowd of people to see what the big deal is about. And to prove the point, even more, the crowd drew the boy’s mom in and she came running once she saw him.
What a clever idea!
