The Royals make the news quite often. They’re always making headlines for their work around the world, things that they do on their time off, and what they’re up to when they’re on tour.
More recently, there has been a lot of spotlight on the newlyweds, and parents-to-be, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Royally-deemed, they are an unconventional couple, but everyone around the world simply loves them, and they’re not to blame! These two are warm and humble people, embracing everyone they meet and making them feel comfortable.
And, just before you start thinking that Prince William and his wife have stopped making the news, here is some royal news for everyone who keeps a tab on Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family. Kate seems to have been in the spotlight for all the right reasons, ever since she married Prince William. The two of them are what the younger generation calls, “couple goals,” and they’re often seen making appearances together. Aside from talking about why the royal couple attended these events and social gatherings, the news is almost always talking about Kate and her impeccable dress sense.
The Duchess of Cambridge is always the talk of the town because of her beautiful dresses and choice of hats. But lately, a lot of people have been wondering why the young woman doesn’t take her coat off at a lot of the appearances. Well, it’s got all to do with royal protocol.
According to the leading magazine Harper’s Bazaar, it is a royal protocol for women in the family to not take their coat off when they’re out. The magazine writes that “When Kate turns up to an event wearing a coat (or a coat-dress, as she so often does), she won’t ever take it off while she’s there. Even though she is most definitely wearing a chic dress underneath, taking off a coat is apparently an unladylike action and probably disrupts her outfit choice.”
These rules come from the queen herself, who people say, prefers the women in the family to be fully dressed and covered. Another rule the ladies must follow involves their nail polish; they are not allowed to wear vibrant nail paint.
I must say that these are some very interesting royal rules!
