Adorable K9 Officer Is Too Lazy To Get In Car

When a week feels like it’s taking forever to close, waking up on a Tuesday thinking it’s Friday is a total letdown. There’s still Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to go! How does that even happen?! What makes one day feel like another and how can we avoid that from happening?

There’s no rhyme or reason, really. As long as you have a good alarm clock or someone to rub your belly, then you’re just going to have to deal with Friday on a Tuesday like this pup.

When Cassie Costin saw this adorable encounter go down, she was quick to react. Her husband, Officer Ryan Costin was at his SUV with the backdoor open struggling to get his K9 partner in the backseat for a day at the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland, USA. Jango the police dog just wasn’t having any of it.

Officer Ryan is trying to coax Jango into moving but he’s just laying flat on the ground. They are both having a standoff to see who will make a move first. Jango isn’t budging and Ryan looks like he’s out of solutions. Another moment goes by, and the Officer gives in, getting down on his knees to pet the dog, and try to convince him to go. Jango gets a really nice belly rub, “positive reinforcement” as Cassie calls it. And bam! Jango is sorted. He gets up and off they go.

According to Cassie, it’s unusual to see Jango so lazy, because he’s usually a very active dog, proving that sometimes even the most active of people and animals get the morning blues. I’m sure if Jango had an alarm clock, his paw would have pressed snooze a few times today!
