Home renovations can be such a drag. As much as a lot of us may want to revamp the home, make it look more modern, add that kitchen island you’ve always wanted, or just change the tiling up in the bathroom, the mere thought just ends up being scary. No one wants to deal with the mess of it all! But what if you don’t have to, and it’s all taken care of? Would you still dread home renovations? I don’t think so, and neither does the wife in the video below.
Kate Boyer was out of town for the weekend when her husband, Miles, decided that it was time to add a different touch to one of the rooms in their home. It looked boring — old carpet, faded paint, and lack of luster. He figured he’d change it all up before the wife comes back home.
Miles first takes all the furniture out and rips out the carpet. He starts changing it up to a beautiful hardwood floor instead — but not before the kids enjoy the bare room for a little bit! They go in their and are loving the echoes they hear every time they say a word.
After the flooring is in, this room becomes a temporary dance studio for the three little ones and they’re seen practicing everything from ballet and hip-hop to freestyle dance.
Miles paints the room a brighter white and puts all the furniture back in. Now everything works so well in the room! He even made a DIY upholstered headboard as a new addition to the old bed!
Now he is a super dad for managing a full room reno and three children while his wife is away!
The best part, however, is when Kate walks in and sees the changes for the first time.
