Just like us, canines love to let loose every once in a while. After all, having fun isn’t a crime. Although, during the snowy winter months, one may feel as if there is a restriction of activities to partake in. During this season, many also cut back on daily dog walks and playing with their pup outside. We all tend to become housebound along with our pets.
One dog owner, however, didn’t let the snowy day get him down. He decided to have his dog tag along with him while he enjoyed a day of sledding, and it was the best decision he could have made.
Once the owner reached the top of a snowy hill and hopped on his sled, his dog stood there staring while joyously wagging his tail. Next thing you know, the pup decides he wants to join too! In the dog’s defense, the owner did need a sledding partner and wasn’t about to face an icy slope alone.
Before dad took off, his furry friend held tightly onto him while standing on his back two feet on the sled, ready to slide down. It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before and surely an incredible sight for others around him to witness. We were fortunate enough to have video footage of this adorable dad-dog bonding moment.
As they speed down the hill, it’s apparent the dog is just as excited as anyone else sledding with their best friend. With his mouth wide open and tongue hanging out, we get a good idea of how happy this winter activity makes him.
Next time you think about avoiding the wintry weather, why not enjoy it with your pup? After all, maybe your pet will be just as thrilled to go sledding as this viral dog!
