One may believe that if you’re a celebrity or someone with a high social ranking, that you must be serious and stern in all public encounters. In this way, many think that those of incredibly high stature are quite boring and innocent. The video below however is here to tell a different tale.
In it, you’ll see Prince William and his wife, Duchess Kate Middleton, at the exceedingly popular event, The Royal Variety, which takes place annually in the United Kingdom. It is attended by members of the royal family and is a way in which to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity.
It is here, that many talented acts take place, from singing to dancing and magic shows, etc. But when a little girl made her way onto the stage, she managed to turn the tables by having the spotlight shine onto the royal family, or more specifically, Prince William, as opposed to the performers.
In the middle of her performance, she asked him for a simple request. In her sweet and sincere, little voice, this tiny girl summons the nerve to ask a pretty interesting question. And if you notice her face, she means serious business She’s not kidding around and really, truly wants what she’s asking for. Those who ask, do receive after all!
What was it? She asked the dashing prince to gallop like a horse! It’s as plain and simple as that. The crowd goes wild as everyone including the little girl, stage group and camera pan over to Prince William and Kate, eager for their response. Will he do it? With that, Duchess Kate began laughing furiously but little did she (and the entire crowd) know, that Prince William would deliver!
This, of course, caused a huge bout of laughter throughout the hall and left the guests feeling happy and lighthearted. The young contestants of the evening even began galloping with the Prince! It indeed is an adorable moment to behold!
Did you think that the Prince would be such a good sport? If you want me to answer the question, then, in my opinion, I’m not surprised that William went up on stage. They’re a generous and giving family and the royal family always wants to relate to the people around them!
