Unimpressed Judges Change Their Minds When Acapella Group Brings House Down With Performance

We all have our favorite type of music. It is really about what appeals to us, and not necessarily what we listen to on a daily basis. For example, I have a long commute to work and majority of the time I’m listening to my favorite radio station with a whole lot of pop music playing for over an hour. But, that doesn’t mean my favorite genre is pop. I like all sorts of styles, acapella being one of them.

If you’re also a fan of a capella, then you’re in for a bit of a treat with the video shared below. It’s a stage performance taken from everyone’s favorite “Britain’s Got Talent,” and it’s by a group called Bands of Voices. This clip is taken from their audition, back in 2013, at the moment that they impressed the judges with their acapella performance of “Price Tag.”

It seemed like the judges weren’t impressed at first, but as the group continues to sing to the beat, they get a good sense of Band of Voices’ talent and figure out that the band means business! The team even hypes up the crowd, and everyone in the room is enjoying what they see on stage.

Acapella is a popular form of singing and is even highlighted in popular films, including the “Pitch Perfect” series. It’s one of the music genres that are very experimental, and you can turn pretty much any given song into something fun and spunky when singing it in a capella.
