Wife Gets Photobombed By Goofy Husband In Costume During Work Video Conference Meetings

With quarantine in place, many employees have had to start working from home. Students, too, have had to start completing their assignments online. While some people might have thought working or going to school from home would be relatively easy to adjust to, many have found that it can be a challenge. The biggest problem for most is probably dealing with distractions.

For Cara Fields, she had a unique distraction: her husband, Matt. No, her husband isn’t a heavy talker. And, no, he’s not the type to blast television or play loud video games in the background while his wife is busy at work. Instead, his way of distracting Cara was to dress up in silly costumes and “photobomb” (or in this case, “Zoombomb”) her while she’s participating in Zoom video conference calls with her work. The funniest part? Matt sneaks into the room in costume, and rarely does Cara even notice!

“The colleagues I’m meeting with always see him before I do. Never a dull moment in this household!” she admitted. “My colleagues love this. It’s so strange to see a team of people laughing while you’re presenting, and then realizing something ridiculous is going on behind you.”

The fact that it’s a surprise makes it that much better.

And, best of all, Zoombombing his wife wasn’t just a one-time thing; he kept doing it with different costumes! From Waldo to Batman, Matt has a silly disguise each and every time.

Although Matt loves his wife, embarrassing her (and making her laugh) is definitely the goal.

“He has always loved wearing ridiculous things in public to embarrass me,” Cara said. “So when I converted our dining room into an office where my camera faced the dining room table, he saw a virtual opportunity to embarrass me.”

While Matt, too, is working from home, he fits time into his schedule to ensure he can continue his Zoombomb streak. And, don’t worry, there are plenty of costumes to go around for future Zoombombings!

“Friends started mailing him Halloween costumes. I’m told that more costumes are in transit!”

Oh boy. I can’t wait to see what Matt comes up with next. Although I’m sure Cara gets a bit distracted with his crazy costumes, he never fails to put an instant smile on her face. In a few years when she looks back on her quarantine experience, she’ll surely have something positive to smile about.

Check out the photobombing prankster down below. His straight face makes it even better!

I think we all need a partner like him who can make us laugh and remain lighthearted.
