I’m pleased to announce that my favorite season has arrived. Fall is finally here after a very long wait that included a hot, sticky, humid summer that lasted well past its expiration date. This morning, when I opened the front door to walk the dogs I was greeted by crisp fall air and a coating of glistening frost on the grass. To be completely honest, I couldn’t be happier.
While I’m sure that many of you prefer the long, lazy days of summer with its backyard barbecues, bathing suits, and beach vacations, I would much rather have cool temperatures, apple picking, pumpkin carving, and a cozy scarf around my neck. The blissful weeks of fall are my only reward for putting up with the miserable heat of the Summer and the bone-chilling cold of winter.
I’ll never understand why some people don’t like autumn, but I imagine that one reason could be cleaning up leaves. We all love to look at the beauty of the trees as their leaves change color for the season, but its hard to deny that cleaning them up after they fall off can be a difficult chore.
However, there is always a way to make chores fun. For instance, you can invite a friend or a group of friends over to help, and then it’s more like a party. That is until you realize that your friends are actually no help at all.
The lady in this video is tasked with cleaning up some leaves. There happens to be plenty of help on hand, but not the kind of help she wants. As she attempts to clean up an enclosure that houses several baby pandas, they manage to make her job much harder than it should be.
In fact, she can barely even get in the door! The pandas are playing just in front of the door, so she tosses her broom over the side to distract them. As they completely take it apart, she’s able to dash through. After repairing the broom, she spends the next several minutes cleaning up leaves, only to have a group of adorable baby pandas knock over her basket, get in the way, and cause chaos in general.
While she may not be able to finish her cleaning task efficiently, I have to admit that I would love this job. They may be a pain to deal with, but no one can deny that these pandas are almost too cute for words!
