Owner Has Great Way To Keep Dog Happy Without Having To Play Fetch Ever Again

Nothing can break the bond between a dog and his ball. It goes far back to the pre-domestication of dogs when they were more wolf-like than house trained.

The fastest, quietest runners were the lucky ones who got to capture and eat all the small animals they could catch. These were the ones who survived, and therefore reproduce, resulting in an entire species with a deeply ingrained instinct to run and chase after pretty much anything.

Now, fetch is the favorite game of dogs around the world. For a dog, a life without fetch just wouldn’t be a life. And with a boundless supply of energy wrapped up in a dog like Buddy who just loves fetch SO MUCH, this new toy was absolutely necessary.

Buddy was adopted from TEAM Dog Rescue in Toronto, a safe haven for dogs taken from high kill shelters while they wait for their forever homes – boy, did he ever find a good forever home.

Buddy’s personality, as hilariously seen in this video, has blossomed since being adopted. His owner, Rennie Richard, describes him as high energy, very curious and brings joy to people around him wherever he goes.

Rennie says that the automatic launcher is Buddy’s favorite, and he only became so happy (like REALLY REALLY REALLY happy) about it once he learned to do it by himself. She thinks that’s the overall excitement for him. Rennie is thrilled to have Buddy in her life and continues to be an advocate via social media, for adopting instead of shopping for dogs.
