Late last month, two lives were saved all thanks to Taco Bell hot sauce. Sounds bizarre, right? Read on!
The first incident occurred in Oregon. A 36-year-old named Jeremy Taylor and his dog, Ally were trapped in his snow-covered car for five days. They were rescued by a snowmobiler. The pair were “in decent health,” according to the sheriff’s deputy. How did they manage to come out okay? The two cuddled and kept warm in a sleeping bag, Jeremy ran the car when it became too cold, and Ally drank melted ice from a drink.
Jeremy had no food, so he survived off of three Taco Bell hot sauce packets, more specifically the “fire” sauce, he shared in a Facebook post.
Taco Bell, of course, said a few words about this story. “We’re very glad Jeremy and Ally are okay. We know our sauce packets are amazing, but this takes it to a whole new level. We’re in touch with Jeremy and getting him some well-deserved tacos and a care package.
The second incident was, honestly, miraculous. It happened on March 16th.
This event happened in Florida, and once again, because of Taco Bell’s hot sauce, a man’s life was saved.
A customer was at Taco Bell, just enjoying his meal when he stood up to get some more hot sauce packets. Just as he walked away, a car crashed through the restaurant’s wall. It drove straight into the table the man had left only mere seconds earlier.
The 77-year-old man driving the car, Emmanuel Akowuah, had been parked and was about to back out but accidentally put his car in drive instead of reverse. His wife was in the passenger seat.
A police statement said, “The vehicle jumped the curb and went into the building, coming to rest approximately ten feet inside of the building.

Thankfully, no one was injured. The Taco Bell restaurant had significant damage, as you can see in the picture.
But, just like we said, this event was miraculous. Spokeswoman Jamie Brown stated, “This was a serious crash: the airbags deployed and the building kind of caved in. The occupants could have been injured and the man who got up to get more hot sauce could have sustained a devastating injury or even death.”
Both of these stories, despite bad circumstances, had happy endings all thanks to Taco Bell’s hot sauce!
