What is your all-time favorite pastime? Is it yoga? Can it be catching up on Netflix with some popcorn? Or, perhaps sleeping your free time away? Everyone has something they love to do and we’re all different and unique in our tastes. For example, my preference for spending my free time cooking up new dishes in the kitchen may not go down well with my best friend; and, I may not like sitting down and practicing my knitting skills as she does…I don’t know how she does it!
As I said, we’re all different. This statement just doesn’t apply to us humans though, it can definitely relate to our dogs as well. If you’re a dog owner, you’ll know that each dog has his/her own personality. Some are calm and collected while others prefer being hyper—they’ll jump up on anyone who walks through the door and want to play with them. They also all have their own likes and dislikes.
For example, a friend of mine has two dogs—one prefers to spend his time just lazing around and the other is the clown of the family, literally walking around the house on his hind paws, trying to attract everyone’s attention. But speaking of attention, there’s another pup that has all eyes on her right now because of how she likes to spend her time at home.
We don’t know what this dog’s name is, but we know from the caption in the video that she is a rescue dog who is now a part of a loving home. Right at the beginning, the pup’s owner encourages her to turn the piano on and start playing. Of course, the cute canine can’t really play a tune on the keys, but the fact that she knows to start playing when she’s asked to is still very impressive.
The dog’s mom is also very supportive. Even when she misses a few notes and the sounds don’t come out too pleasantly, mom tells the dog that it’s ok and to just move on and keep on playing.
All-in-all, this dog playing the piano is something so unique! I’m surprised by it every time I see the doggo perched up on the stool and ready to play.
What are some of the unique things your pup does when there isn’t much else to do around the house? Tell us about it in the comments below, we’d love to hear from you!
In the meantime, don’t forget to watch this rescue dog play the piano!
