Everyone loves magic. It’s a thrill to be delighted and confounded by something that’s beyond our comprehension. I remember the awe I experienced when a street performer magically pulled my card or produced a dove simply by just moving his hands. Whether on the street, on a stage or at a birthday party, magic tricks have been captivating audiences of all ages for centuries. It seems us humans just can’t get enough!
What’s different today, however, is how magic shoots far beyond the ol’ rabbit in a hat-trick. Forget bunnies and top hats, magic has upped the ante in recent years, and it’s unbelievably clever.
Lance Corporal Richard Jones, the 25-year-old soldier, known as the military illusionist, has brought his amazing talent to the judges and audience of “Britain’s Got Talent.” Richard’s confidence and remarkably smooth performance is a jaw-dropper, holding everyone’s attention from the moment he appears on stage.
