There’s a time for work, and a time for play. When it’s time to fight crime and chase bad guys, Indiana Officer Levi Knach and his K-9 partner Kenobi are the crime-fighting duo you want on the streets. The partners are serious when they’re on the clock, making sure everything gets done, and no rocks are left unturned. But when it’s off-duty time, these two know how to wind down and kick it. They’re best friends!
So when the pair had to be all serious for a department photo, Kenobi may be a professionally trained dog able to seek and destroy on command, but at the end of the day, he is a dog, and dogs just want cuddles and kisses!
The two have been paired up for over three years, and are really good at what they do. Their work relationship has also become a friendship, and it’s obvious when this photo shoot doesn’t go as planned! Just as Officer Knach is geared up and ready for his photo to be taken with Kenobi – the two are expected to look serious, and stern – the dog gets a little amorous and starts licking and nuzzling the officer!
It’s pretty hilarious. The photographer snapped some really funny photos of the pup getting up close and personal, while the officer tried to keep a straight face. But of course, he cracks! I think it would be near impossible to keep a straight face during this adorable interruption. The photographer did manage to get an appropriate photo – with a lot of silly outtakes!
