What are some of the things you do with your partner for pass time, or as a hobby? Do you guys cook a meal together and then enjoy your favorite comfort food over some Netflix? Do you guys ensure that you never miss a morning run, regardless of how badly you want to press that snooze button? Whatever it may be, you understand that these little moments are special, right?
Today, we’re sharing with you a couple who has not only found a hobby that’s special for them, but also for those who love music. These guys sing together and sound great while they’re at it, and it’s something they enjoy doing the most.
Meaningful, soulful and hypnotizing–these are just a few of the adjectives that describe this husband and wife, and the musically inclined duo from Grants Pass, Oregon. The couple, McKenzie and Reilly Zamber, are producers, writers, musicians, parents, artists and creators otherwise known as The Hound + The Fox.
The Zambers have been happily married and creating music together since they met. With a little help from their generous Patreon supporters, their dreams are becoming a reality. The Hound + The Fox is quickly gaining traction through its original writing, and passion for film, music and music videos.
As part of their “12 Days of Christmas” release, including various songs and games, The Hound + The Fox shares an uplifting mashup of the Christmas carol classic “What Child Is This?” hauntingly intertwined with the perfectly complementary counter melody, “Child of the Poor.”
Both songs are tragic, telling a story of struggle and discomfort, giving way to their ability to stir emotion. Listen as these two voices dovetail and carry each other so seamlessly—it’s acoustically divine. While both voices stand beautiful and strong in isolation, the joining of both enhances the harmony and melody of the two songs combined, creating exponential vocal power–and goosebumps.
