Marine Dance-Off Has Crowd Erupting In Cheers When They Pull Out Their Hidden Moves

There’s always that one party person who flexes their moves first on the dance floor. Whether it’s at a wedding, a dance party, or a gala, every gathering comes with one brave soul who breaks the dance floor ice before anyone else.

And in this case, at the annual Marine Corps Ball that happens every November, it was one spunky Sergeant Major who started groovin’ and got everyone riled up along with him!

It’s always Michael Jackson that gets the crowd going, and it was certainly the case this time around! From the moment the DJ puts on “Billie Jean” (definitely a crowd favorite) no time was wasted before these marines challenged each other to a dance-off. The first marine in the white pants hits the floor, giving his best MJ impression. He’s got some fancy footwork; he drops doing a leg bend twist that gets everyone cheering! Then, he shuffles across the floor where he pulls a pretty cool stunt – he throws up his body, bending his back to elegantly end up on the floor to do the worm – again, another crowd pleaser!

Next, a marine on the outskirts shows up, his back to the crowd, and we see him start to shake and rattle, doing his best MJ-inspired robot. The camera pans back to the first marine who’s moonwalking and soaking up all the attention! He’s loving it!

But, the finale happens when a fellow marine in black pants comes on the floor to give the first marine a run for his money! He’s setting out to show that he’s got moves too. He walks around, pulls out an epic MJ spin then drops down into the splits. And the audience goes wild. All of these guys are just having a really great time – a much-deserved break from their everyday routine!
