Ever feel like you’re being watched? Surely you know the feeling! Dogs and babies are especially good at this! They don’t fully realize how it makes anybody else feel, and it comes from such an honest place of discovery and exploring, they mean well. And their watchful gaze usually becomes a moment of hilarity or proves to be a really good icebreaker.
Just like this pup who can’t take her eyes off her owner. She’s got him on lockdown, making for an extra funny video that’s cracking up the Internet!
Mike Taddeo’s pitbull Maddie is a big dog. But, don’t let her weight and frame fool you. Even though she’s large in size, she’s really big in the heart too. But, burglars don’t know that! If they were to ever encounter a dog like Maddie, they’d run for the hills. She knows how to scare off intruders effectively but gently, as demonstrated in Mike’s video here.
While Maddie is sweet and loving, she keeps a watchful eye on her owner and their property. Mike says, “Whenever I’m outside Maddie never lets me go unsupervised. Here’s proof.” And proof he has! To show just how much she really guards the place and likes to make sure that everything is running smoothly, Maddie literally sets up shop and watches over everything. But, she’s not growling. She’s not even that scary except for the fact that she’s staring you down. She just makes you feel uncomfortable!
The video says it all. Mike is outside filming and there’s Maddie staring him down from window number one. She’s pretty cute, but her look says, “Don’t even try to mess with me, buster.” Mike takes a couple of steps and goes to the next window. Guess who’s already there? Without skipping a beat, Maddie’s face is in the window staring him down before he gets there. He takes a few more steps to window number three. Surprise! Window number four, you guessed it! She’s already there checking him out.
Maddie moves quickly. She is stealthy and anticipates Mike’s next move. She is patient and all-knowing and her funny behavior is hilarious. Seriously, good luck to anyone who tries to break in and get inside. Maddie is all over it and before anyone can even think about stepping foot on the property, she will already have spotted you and made you feel like you’re unwelcomed!
