When you love someone, don’t you like to hold their hand? It’s a subtle but kind gesture that lets the other person know how much you care. You don’t just hold hands with anyone, only a select few. For owner Carissa Germany, she holds her husband, Jacob’s hand whenever they go out or when she’s driving beside him. But today was a little different.
She took the backseat on this car ride after her Golden Retriever, Lucy, won the race to the car and got the front seat beside Jacob. What happens next is hilarious, and is quickly making its rounds on the Internet! You won’t be able to watch this video without laughing!
One of the reasons why we love pets is because they have the ability to make us laugh at the drop of a hat. They don’t even know how funny they are, they just are. It’s part of their being! And each one does it so different in their own special way, and Lucy is no different. She’s one of a kind for sure!
According to Carissa, Lucy’s funny behavior happens frequently. “Something you might not know about Lucy…. she has to be holding your hand in the car…. Finally got it on video.” Shot from the backseat, Carissa was able to catch Lucy sitting perched up front and then take her paw and try to place it on Jacob’s hand while it’s on the stick shift. She tries to get his hand to come closer, and when Jacob realizes what she’s doing, he reaches over and grabs her paw. But wait, it gets better!
As he holds her paw, the funny dog tosses a glance back to look at Carissa. A kind of naughty look, like she knows she’s treading on thin ice, making a move on a married man! She knows what she’s doing, and it’s her look that makes this situation so much funnier. Even Carissa is laughing out loud, totally amused by the situation. Lucy is one hilarious dog with a huge personality. Everyone likes having her around because she keeps things interesting!
