I remember having a best friend in kindergarten. The two of us used to do everything together. We would play together at recess, be partners for when there was an activity for two, and we were even attendance buddies. I looked forward to going to school to play with her. Then the day came when I had to move, and the two of us were so sad.
Ever had a best friend who ended up moving away when you were young? It’s tough to have someone you’re so close to moving off to another school and city—it’s not good when you’re a child, and it’s never too much fun even after you’ve grown up. It’s a bittersweet moment. But, there’s always hope that one day you can reunite with your best friend and make new and exciting memories. The friends in the video below felt the same, the only difference is that they’re little pups.
I never got a chance to meet my friend again, we eventually moved to different cities and our schools changed for good. But, things turned out differently for the pup in this video.
Laika and Rook were best friends when they were puppies. Like any other pair of best friends, they were inseparable and had a ball of a time when they were together. But like all good things, unfortunately, their time together came to a (brief) end.
Laika and Rook eventually parted ways and moved on in life, but they were fortunate enough to meet again and spend quality time with each other, like the good old days.
The clip below is divided into two: the first part of the footage shows the time when the two first met and how strong their bond had been. The second part highlights what happens when the two reunite. Both the pups are fully grown now and look a bit different from what they used to look like. But, that doesn’t stop Laika and Rook from recognizing each other and going back to the type of friendship they shared before, almost instantly. They can’t wait to embrace one another and play again.
