Toddlers are the epitome of innocence. They’ll go up to every family member to give them kisses, and the family friend’s they don’t know will also get a little bit affection. Really, whatever they feel like doing at the moment is the thing they will do. It’s almost always a kind and selfless thing that warms your heart.
On November 3rd, 2018 and since then, toddler Jude Sasfy has warmed over tens of thousands of people’s hearts in the video down below.
Nick Sasfy, Jude’s father, was at a park concert, where there were numerous people sitting on the grass and relaxing. He had spent the day there and was ready to now go home with the rest of his family. He shared, “Once we told Jude it’s time to go bye-bye, he gave every stranger a hug.”
You read that correctly. While most kids might be too shy to even look a stranger in the eye, this adorable little boy walked around and started giving strangers a hug as a goodbye (with his parent’s following behind him). Luckily, these interactions were captured on video, and it’s gone viral since.
The video begins with Jude going up to a man who’s sitting and facing forward to hug him from behind. The man is surprised but gives him a hug back. Then, he goes to the woman beside him.
After that, he stands, debating who to hug next, and that’s when he goes to a woman who was lying down on her back. Jude throws himself down, and he hugs her too.
From there he hugs other men and women who all hug him back eagerly. They coo and awe at his cuteness. Everybody he hugs looks completely enamored with him, and honestly, we are too! This isn’t the type of video that you see every day.
A man asks, “Free hugs?” when he sees Jude, and asks for one, too. Jude goes up to him and hugs him, and the man makes sure to thank him.
Despite how cute the entire video is, while each new hug warms your heart, it’s the last hug that will melt you completely.
Another toddler comes up to Jude, and without even thinking about it, she opens her arms. Jude notices and goes in for a hug. Everyone awes at the cuteness overload.
This is a video worth taking a minute and a half to watch because it’ll make your chest feel so warm.
