Every woman wants to feel like the pretty woman Roy Orbison wrote a song about. I mean, it’s been popular for so long for a reason! When you look good you feel good, and it all starts with a little makeover magic that leads to confidence!
Janice is on another fabulous segment of The Makeover Guy, and she shows up looking to get her “s**y back.” She confesses she’s tired of her frizzy hair and needs something new. After watching “a million videos” and thinking “wow, I need some help,” now it’s her time to shine!
Janice confesses she dragged her friend from Southern Indiana all the way to see the esteemed Makeover Guy, Christopher Hopkins. “I kinda told a little white lie, they think we’re on a biking trip.” She showed up without an exact idea in mind but knew she could rely on Christopher’s gift for stunning transformations to lift her out of her funk.
From the first snip of her long frizzy hair, you can already imagine the wonderful changes that are on the way. Even she is taken aback but is thrilled to be that much closer to an updated version of herself. She even gets a sit-down, one-on-one session with a wardrobe planner to help get her style on track. And then comes the reveal!
Janice looks like a breath of fresh air. Her hair is way shorter but has so much volume and oomph. The shade is a dark red, so it’s not too bright and brassy, it’s just enough color to warm up her face and give her a glow. Christopher gave her such a good cut, one that frames her face and makes use of her curls to give her that youthful bounce. And her makeup? It’s just the right amount to accentuate her natural features without taking away or covering up too much. It perks up her face, smoothing out any inconsistencies to complete Janice’s “s**y back” look! She even got a few minutes of rest and relaxation with a nice face mask with a piano playing in the background; Christopher, himself, is serenading her.
The difference is night and day, she looks 20 years younger and is in tears at the end of her makeover. “I got my little sass back, and it feels wonderful.”
