When it’s hot outside, a break from the heat is well-deserved. Everybody tends to run slower when it’s warm, moving with less haste and less speed. Why work up a sweat when it’s already a million degrees outside? You’ve got to conserve your energy!
This analogy doesn’t just apply to us humans though. You’ll notice that when the heat is scorching, and the sun is blasting its rays, our animals tend to slow down as well. They need a place to sit and relax, away from the sun. Cooling down for them is so important since a lot of our furry friends are covered in thick layers of fur, hair, and/or hide.
Now, with that said, check out with these guys in the video below decided to do! These two horseys spotted a cool down opportunity and decided to make the most of it. As partners in crime, they’re onto something good! We can’t blame them, because really, wouldn’t you do the same with your best friend?
After grazing around in the field in Osgoode, Ontario, Canada, it’s safe to say the pair was pooped! It takes a lot of effort to move around in the heat and in all honesty, you can only do it for so long before passing out. So when this very conveniently located pond came up, the two were game for a cool-down swim and frolic!
But, that wasn’t all they had in mind. They’re even blowing bubbles! The horses are almost up to their eyeballs in the water, absolutely loving life when they realize they can push air through their nostrils to create fun movement in the water. Now they’re cool, refreshing and wet – a far cry from the dry field they were milling around in before finding this piece of paradise! What a great way to spend the afternoon together, just two friends taking a dip! And they’re so serene, too. Quietly, but thoroughly enjoying every bit of the moment.
