For those who don’t know, Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle tied the knot earlier this year. Of course, like any other royal wedding, this affair was grand. The media were flocking in from all over the world to get a glimpse of the new royal couple, and share the news with their audience!
The royal weddings usually have a unique aspect to them. This factor can be anything from the bride’s dress to the antique jewelry she wore to commemorate someone special in the family. Of course, Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding was nothing different. Meghan wore Queen Mary’s tiara on her big day, paying respect to the generation before her. The couple had also decided to invite people from around the world to join them, and that was something that was never done before.
Reports say that they sent out random invitations to people around the world so they can have ordinary citizens attend the wedding and join in on the fun (and hype!). This idea was so new and it was much appreciated by everyone around the world.
So, for a couple that keeps in mind those around them, loved ones and global citizens, it’s only fair that they receive a special gift in return for their generosity; 19-year-old Chloe Mullins had the perfect thing for the newlyweds.
The teenager was a part of a crowd that was surrounding the couple in Ireland one day. As Prince Harry and Meghan are greeting everyone, Chloe manages to get their attention. She was hanging off a guardrail trying to catch a glimpse of the couple, and also waving a strange item in her hand at the two. Apparently, Prince Harry was intrigued by what Chloe was waving at them and wanted to get closer and take a better look.
So, as the two got closer to see what she was waving at them, they noticed that it was a hand-drawn photo of the man and wife, from their engagement shoot. Both Prince Harry and Meghan were extremely happy to see the drawing. The former even went on to have a brief conversation with Chloe about the drawing:
“That’s very very good. Did you draw that? It’s lovely.” He says. Then, he jokingly adds, “And you’ve given me more hair!”
What a humble and down-to-earth couple, I must say! And the drawing is phenomenal, it doesn’t look like a portrait at all!
