This basset hound needs a little tender love and care after appearing to have woken up on the wrong side of his dog bed. His droopy eyes and grumpy behavior do however make some good video viewing!
Keith is 6-years-old (that’s 42-years-old in dog years), and his crabbiness is laughable. It looks like he just woke up and hasn’t had his coffee yet as he tries (and fails) to get his owner’s attention. It’s almost as if he’s saying, “I’m looking at you. Why aren’t you looking at me? Look at me. Helloooo.”
Frustrated that he’s not getting all the love and kisses he’s whimpering for, Keith then attempts a different approach. The I-don’t-need-you-so-I’ll-play-hard-to-get strategy works out for him a little better. His owner’s hand comes into view and momentarily scratches Keith’s neck and head, to which the dog warms up for a fleeting moment before throwing his head back in protest for more.
The owner stops, and Keith gives him that look again, but with a different message, “Hey. We were on to something. Why did you stop?” The owner hears his dog’s “telepathic” message and continues to show him, love – before Keith starts whining again, and the owner stops. AWWWW! Someone give this doggy a treat.
