Granny Is A Huge Elvis Fan, So She Busts A Move With The King At Senior Center

I have a family member (who shall remain nameless) that is an enormous Elvis fan. She has Elvis memorabilia throughout her house, she listens to his music, and has even made the pilgrimage to visit Graceland. If you ask her, she will tell you that it was one of her favorite vacations, ever. I suppose she’s what could be called a “superfan” and she is very proud of it.

Many music artists inspire this sort of devotion from their fans, but it seems like Elvis is someone that so many people connect with. His music and his persona inspired and brought joy to his fans and he is one of the few artists to have created a whole culture around Elvis impersonators. There are cover bands and artists, but Elvis impersonators are a unique group, and some of them enjoy a certain amount of fame in their career.

Whether you’re a famous impersonator or just one of the guys, it’s almost guaranteed that when you walk in a room dressed as “The King,” you’re going to bring joy to plenty of fans, young, old, and in-between. Elvis fans span generations and Elvis impersonators tap into that devoted fandom.

When the man in this video made a trip to the Harlawhill Day Care Centre, a senior center in Prestonpans, Scotland, he probably expected a quieter audience. Instead, he was greeted with a fun-loving, energetic audience, and even a duet partner!

A woman named Jenny is an Elvis fan, and she was excited to see the performance. She was dancing along when the impersonator passed her the microphone, and they both sang “Suspicious Minds,” an Elvis song from 1969. The entire performance is charming, delightful, and it’s no surprise that it’s going viral. People can’t get enough of Jenny and “Elvis!”

Watch the video and fun-loving performance, below!
