I want to start by saying this: there is nothing wrong with wanting to change the way that you look, your physical appearance. If you’re going to change your nose, you do that. If you want a whole makeover, you do that. And that’s exactly what the woman in the video down below did. 59-year-old Cindy, a woman from Ohio, decided that what she wanted for her 60th birthday was a full-blown makeover. And that’s what she did.
After finding The Makeover Guy, Christopher Hopkins, Cindy realized that she wanted a new look. Her husband shared that he wasn’t going to be of any influence and that she should do whatever she wanted to do.
So, with long hair and no makeup, she goes to The Makeover Guy.
We think it’s safe to say that everyone knows Chris of The Makeover Guy. He works his magic every single time, and Cindy was reassured that she would get the makeover of her life – she was in safe hands, that’s for sure!
She starts by getting her eyebrows waxed, which she loved! Then, she goes for a haircut. There wasn’t much that she wanted to do with that as she claimed that she was conservative, so Chris struggled a bit with figuring out what to do, but in the end, you wonder if he’d ever really struggled! He chopped off her hair, and she could only scream in response when he showed her!
But, we don’t think this scream was anything to worry about. As soon as Cindy sees the hair that Chris has clipped off, she definitely screams, but then a smile wipes away all her worries. It was almost as if she was more excited about the result once she saw that her hair was now in Chris’ hands and he was confident he knew what he was doing, all while keeping her opinion in mind.

It’s not easy to rely on someone else when it comes to your looks. People are so particular about how they want their makeup and what they want to do with their hair, and rightfully so! No one knows how comfortable you are in your skin other than you. But sometimes, when you decide that it’s time for a change, a slight variation in the way you wear your hair, or the way you apply your eyeliner, is warranted.
So, when Cindy decided that she wanted a makeover and that too from Chris the makeover guy, she knew she was making the right choice about with stylist but still had some inhibitions. She was specific about what she wanted her hair to turn out like.
This decision is what stumped Chris a bit, but after a brief consultation with his team, the infamous stylist comes back out and decides to chop off a good chunk! And the rest is for you to catch up on with the video below!
After her hair is done, makeup comes next. The woman doing her makeup makes sure to explain what she’s doing and gives Cindy tips and advice so that she’s able to do it herself.
Finally, the time comes when Cindy’s husband walks into the room. Of course, our loved ones are excited and anxious to see the new us when we go through even the slightest transformation – they’re so used to seeing us the same on a day-to-day basis. So, it’s granted that Cindy’s husband was excited and maybe somewhat reluctant to face his wife for the big reveal.
But, the wait and his patience totally paid off, and you can tell that was clear from his reaction. As soon as he faces Cindy for the first time, after she spent hours with the stylists behind closed doors, he immediately responds with a big smile and says, “Whoa!”
He can’t seem to take his eyes off her and was literally looking at his wife with the open-mouthed, and wonderful, gaze as shown in the picture below! Cindy’s husband had supported her decision of getting a makeover right from the get-go. Not because he didn’t find her beautiful, but because that’s what she wanted, and all he wanted was for her to be happy – a makeover did the trick! So, it was a win-win situation for both the husband and wife and not to mention the team of stylists who worked on the look!
Going back to her husband’s reaction, after taking in Cindy’s new avatar, he tells her how pretty and s**y she looks!
In the next clip, you see a brand new Cindy-a short haired, waxed, made up Cindy who looks beautiful! Happy with the result, the woman smiles at the camera as the clip ends. We can tell that Cindy will try to stick to the upkeep of her new look.
