Weddings are so much fun — both the guests and the bride and groom can relate to that statement; there’s a little something special in it for everyone. You may be the center of attention, as the bride and groom, and enjoy all the attention and the moment that you’re about to say “I do” to the love of your life. Or, as a guest you may share a special experience like a dance performance or just the idea of being able to be a part of the union between the two people.
However, the wedding day is also the time that is most nerve-wracking for everyone involved. The groom and his bride will obviously be jittery, but I don’t blame the flower girl in the video below for being nervous too!
I remember being a bridesmaid at my cousin’s wedding, years ago. It wasn’t even my big day, but the night before, I was losing sleep thinking about what I would do in the moments leading up to walking in before the bride. I didn’t think I could commit to the task, the fact that so many people would be watching me was so daunting. I even had a partner that I was walking in with, that, however, didn’t ease the way I was feeling.
You’re probably wondering if everything turned out fine in the end. To my relief, it did, and I actually had a great time that day! Given that I was older, it was easier to let go of the jitters and get into the role of being a bridesmaid. But, the little girl in the video below, her story is a bit different.
The clip starts off with the flower girl’s mom bringing her to the start of the aisle and leaving. The girl was probably under the impression that mom would follow her along, all until she notices that her mother wasn’t there anymore. She immediately turns back around to see what was keeping her mom.
This back and forth happens a couple of times before someone else makes a realization and decides to jump in to save the day! Enter one of the groomsmen and his chivalry.
He helps the flower girl walk down the aisle, just so she has a buddy and doesn’t have to do it alone, and even throws the petals around, on her behalf! Absolutely hilarious!
