Some of the most popular videos out there are father-daughter dances, whether that be at sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, or weddings. In the video below, we have a father-daughter dance at a bar mitzvah!
The father, Jonathan, and 13-year-old Danielle blow their friends and family away when they surprise them with what at first seems like your typical slow dance. They start their slow dance to “Daddy’s Little Girl,” a classic in this case sung by Michael Buble.
Everyone’s having a nice time watching them, Danielle in her pretty pink dress surrounded by the people she loves and pretty decor, until suddenly “Daddy’s Little Girl” transitions into “Tik Tok” by Kesha, earning them surprised cheers and applause. They dance it to their choreography, then they start shuffling, earning them even more cheers.
As the performance goes on, the songs transition into different songs like “In Da Club” by 50 Cent and “Party Rock Anthem” by L***O. (Despite this concept of dancing being a common thing now, it never fails to surprise and amuse us, don’t you think?)
Anyway, the DJ urges the crowd to clap their hands along to the beat of the song, and everyone follows, including Jonathan and Danielle.
After their hip-hop induced dance moves, they end and go back to “Daddy’s Little Girl.” Friends and family immediately burst into screams and gave them a round of applause.
