Dog “Guarding” Sheep Is Using A Very Different Method

As human beings, we often tend to hope that fairy tales could come true. That is why Disney films and favorite children’s books do so well for kids and adults alike. We like to believe in hope, and we love to imagine that something unbelievably wonderful is just around the corner.

If we made you feel like you’re in need of a feel-good and fun story, then you’re in the right place. We’re here to brighten up your day by telling you a true story, similar to that of the film, “Babe.” Only in this story, we find that the dog is the one who is slightly out of character, acting in quite a strange manner. Totally intrigued? Us too!

In the video below, you’ll see a pup who obviously managed to think outside of the box, using a different technique when it came to guarding the sheep. Instead of showing off its status of power and dominance, the clever pup decided to perch atop one of the sheep.

Yes, the dog in the clip decided that in order to do his job “well,” he figured he’d climb on one of the sheep and hang out there. While he looks pretty comfortable and well-rested, I would like to counter the “laziness” and mention that maybe his idea isn’t so crazy. After all, he’s protecting them from wolves and intruders, right? And he’s kind of a small dog, quick and nimble, I’m sure, but he doesn’t see very far when his four legs are on the ground. He doesn’t have much height…

So, by jumping on top of one of his furry friends, he’s able to gain a totally new perspective and see all around! And when said-sheep wants to stand up? The pup keeps its balance and goes along for the ride! Unbelievable!

The occurrence was filmed in Fordongianus, Italy, and, simply put, we cannot get enough of this hilarious footage. I axctually think it’s pretty genius. Here, we’ve got a thrifty fella who seemingly dislikes exercise and would instead take a load off as opposed to running a tight ship! You’ve got to give it props for its creativity!

Give the super funny video clip a peek below!
