Mmmmmm corn… I don’t know a single person that doesn’t love eating corn on the cob. But do you know how to pick and cook your corn? The last time I was at the farmer’s market, I was picking out a dozen ears of corn when I decided to ask the vendor for some tips. Apparently, I had been doing things all wrong! [googlead]Not only was I not looking out for the right things (check out the video below for some tips and tricks) but I was missing out on an amazing way to boil my corn. Like most people, I boil my corn in just water. However, it turns out that a secret trick that chefs use is to bring their pot to a boil and then add… MILK! That’s right, milk. And you can even add some butter. This will make your corn that much more succulent and creamier tasting. Yum!
