Imagine being only 5-years-old and getting the opportunity of a lifetime to not only meet the voice of your favorite Disney character but actually get to have your own sponsored video! It’s a dream come true for any kid – and in all seriousness, would be a dream come true for many adults, too!
Claire Crosby may have only spent fives years on Earth so far, but she’s done a lot during her time around, that’s for sure! Known for her incredible voice, and for teaming up with dad to perform songs on her YouTube and Facebook channels, Claire has been taking the Internet by storm for a few years now, appearing on “The Ellen Show,” “Little Big Shots” and partnering up with Disney.
Disney gave Claire such a cool opportunity. The hit movie “Moana” (2016) is Claire’sfavoritee, and she loves to sing the song from it, “How Far I’ll Go.” Claire got to work with Disney directly, re-create a scene from Moana and meet (and sing!) alongside Auli’i Cravalho, the real voice of Moana – and who really looks like the Disney princess herself!
In this video, Claire and her dad ran down the beach while they were in Los Angeles to film a video for Claire’s studio version of the song. In it, she is belting her little heart out to this emotional and inspiring song about reaching your dreams. Her voice is beautiful and adorable, and her confidence, on point. She is a natural in front of the camera, and delivers a great performance that Moana herself would be proud of!
