Bringing a child into the world is nothing short of a miracle. That being said, it’s also something of an adventure. Couples take on the challenge of raising children with excitement for what is to come. They often have little idea of how their lives are going to change.
Having a baby means a complete lifestyle change. Long gone are the days of sleeping in late in a quiet, tidy house. Your new life is taken up by an unpredictable, but wonderful baby, who now requires all of your time and attention.
Just when new parents are getting the hang of things and starting to get a handle on the whole parenting thing, the toddler years sneak up. Your tiny baby is growing up, they can get around pretty well on their own, and they’re able to get into a lot more trouble. Toddlers are actively exploring the world around them and discovering how things work.
Toddlers are starting to understand “possessions” and owning things. This also means that they enjoy hiding things and putting things away to keep for themselves. Sometimes they’re not even really hiding things, just figuring out what fits where.
So, when a toddler discovers a cat flap, it’s no surprise that they’re intrigued. First, this little one probably noticed the cat going in and out, which is pretty amazing in itself. So, it wasn’t long before the little cutie noticed that the cat isn’t the only thing that fits through the magical, mystery door.
Now, there’s a bit of an obsession with the cat door, and this toddler loves throwing anything and everything right out the door. Mom started finding things outside and captured this hilarious video of her toddler throwing things out into the yard.
