Orangutans Are Compassionate
The gentle giants have strong bonds of dependence.
And Nurse Like Humans
Orangutans are primates, and are not that different from people. In fact, they are part of the same family: Hominidae. The Great Apes.
Gemma Made Eye Contact
When the orangutan reached her.
The Orangutan Reached Out
And put its hand against the glass.
They Sat Together
When Gemma accepted the Orangutan’s presence, the two caring Hominids sat together for half an hour. This incredible story of motherhood reminds us that love and compassion are not traits unique to humanity. After her touching encounter, Gemma began to encourage people everywhere to donate to organizations caring for these endangered primates. Share this story with friends and family!
