Bucks County, Pennsylvania’s Hilltown Police were called to attend to a burning farmhouse.

Brave Police Partners

Officer Matthew Reiss and Officer Kristian Hanus arrived at the scene before the fire crew so they did not hesitate to come to the trapped horse’s rescue.

A Chaotic Scene

When the police partners entered the barn, there were flames coming from a pile of hay while the frightened horse, named Phoebe, was frozen by fear on one corner.

“Give Me A Rope.”

One officer asked a worker where he could find a rope he could use to tug the horse from its position.

But Terrified Phoebe Wouldn’t Budge

When the cops were already having a hard time pulling Phoebe towards the exit, they asked the worker to help them with the tugging.

After realizing that there was a clear path before her, Phoebe decided to run away from the burning barn.
