I don’t think there’s anything cuter or more innocent than puppies. I mean, sure, they’re not easy to care for, they might tear up something of yours without knowing any better, and they still don’t have proper control over their bowel and urinary movements just yet. However, their tiny size, clumsiness, and high-pitched yelps are enough to make my emotions go into overdrive for all the right reasons.
That’s exactly what happened to me when I recently watched a video of a man getting swarmed by a group of playful golden retriever puppies. The whole time, all I could think was, “Awww!”
The man and his wife recently welcomed the 10 furry children after one of their adult golden retrievers gave birth. And, at the time of the video, the pups were just seven weeks old and wilder than ever before.
But that didn’t stop the couple from wanting to release the rambunctious fur babies all at the same time from an enclosure. Before opening the gate to the enclosure, they made sure to turn on a camera for recording because they already knew it was about to get crazy.
As the wife opened the confinement, and the man called out to the puppies from the end of the driveway, a majority of them spirited their little hearts out towards the man. (A few were more interested in the wife but were still overjoyed with their newfound freedom.)
Next thing you know, the man is now back-down on the ground with puppies crawling all over him and nipping at him in a playful manner. So much love and attention from the goldie pups — a dream come true for most people!
“You guys are crazy. You guys are out of control,” he said as he playfully screamed.
Apart from the big picture, one of the most adorable parts of the clip is seeing the pups constantly run around like mad dogs while all their tails wagged violently. Did Mom give them energy drinks?!
Eventually, the puppies get distracted as they all tend to do. By the end of the video, the husband was no longer physically constrained to the floor, so he sat up to give some pets to the one puppy that was still wanting his attention. Too cute!
While all of the negativity going on in the world right now, you’ll feel renewed after watching the footage below. Now, if only I could be attacked by some puppies too! It sounds like a good form of therapy to me.
