I’ve never had to propose to anyone before (my man beat me to it), but I imagine it would be a pretty stressful ordeal. Even if you know for a fact that your partner would say yes, deciding when to do it, where to do it, and what to say is a lot to handle. And at some point, you actually have to do it. Yikes! I’m shaking and getting sweaty palms just thinking about it.
Due to how stressful and anxiety-provoking planning a proposal can be, it’s totally understandable that some men (and women) prefer to go for a simple proposal. Others don’t get down on one knee at all. Instead, they might just have a talk with their partner about taking the next step in their relationship and then go to a local jewelry shop to pick out an engagement ring together. But others like to go big, like one man named Jonathan.
One night, Jonathan and his girlfriend Ellen had plans to go out to dinner. While they were strolling the streets as they made their way to the restaurant, the couple was suddenly interrupted by a couple of performers. Eventually, a couple of performers became a small crowd-worth of random dancers.
Of course, as anyone would, Ellen started to get into the performance. The smiles on her face and the fact that she started to record the flash mob tells us she was having the time of her life!
But little did she realize that she was videotaping part of her proposal. Quite a few songs into the routine, giddy Jonathan ever so sneakily joined in. His girlfriend looked stunned and perhaps a bit embarrassed.
After showing off some of his best dance moves, two of the performers took Ellen by the arms, placing her right behind Jonathan. As he turned around, the crowd squealed; they knew exactly what he was about to do!
Ellen was definitely taken aback as her boyfriend got down on one knee right before her. She was already surprised by the amazing street performance, and now she’s getting proposed to, too?! That’s a lot for one girl to handle.
You bet Jonathan got a big fat yes!

So he wanted to take her back to where it all began – with our help! Huge congratulations guys!!!” said Club Mob in the description of the video they posted of their flash mob proposal.
