Anyone who knows of Celine Dion knows she’s one of the most talented and popular Canadian singers to date. Her incredible voice and concert performances have certainly earned her that title.
If the name Celine Dion doesn’t quite ring a bell, the singer recorded the 1997 song, “My Heart Will Go On” for her album, Let’s Talk About Love, which was featured in the Titanic. This drama-romance-disaster film is a movie a great chunk of us have watched; and thus, many of us should be quite familiar with Celine’s popular tune.
Although most people know Celine for her beautiful voice that’s powerful enough to bring tears to our eyes, what some people don’t know about her is that she’s an incredibly fun and humorous gal. We witness just that in her recent appearance on “Carpool Karaoke,” a segment of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
For those who’ve never watched the segment before, English actor and The Late Late Show host, James Corden, invites famous musicians to sing their songs with him as they drive around together. Apart from singing, James asks his guests questions and engages in a little chit-chat with them for our entertainment.
In the May 20, 2019 episode of James’s segment, he features the beautiful and talented Celine Dion as they drive around Las Vegas, Celine’s current place of residence. Before picking up Celine, James is jamming out to “Viva Las Vegas,” a perfectly fitting tune.
As Celine pops into the car in the passenger seat, all heck breaks loose! Every time James asks her a question, she breaks out in a song correlating with what he’s asking her. “I have to say, you really have a song for every moment,” James states while laughing.
Then James pops on the radio, and what do you know? It’s Celine’s 1996 hit, “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now!” Celine makes a face as if she isn’t pleased with the song playing. Then she breaks out in dramatic choreography to the beat of the music before busting out each lyric on the top of her lungs with James.
Later in the video, Celine Dion puts her own spin on the song, “Baby Shark” before belting out to “Because You Loved Me.” The musical versatility of Celine is real!
One of the next key parts of the segment is when Celine and James stop passersby on the sidewalk and offer them a pair of Celine’s shoes. Their reactions are priceless!
