Chinese Restaurant’s Chicken Wing Menu Is So Weird, Internet Is Drawing Graphs To Figure It Out

Thanks to the accessibility of the Internet, plus its steady mass of impassioned users, there are some things that spread faster than wildfire, and almost as fast as the speed of light. This comes down to when someone posts something so mind-blowing, and fantastically strange, that the whole community is taken aback – and needs to comment and figure it out NOW.

Danny’s Wok is a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia, PA, USA, that has two locations and everyone’s feathers ruffled over their unique chicken wing pricing chart. Sound ridiculous? You ain’t seen nothing yet:

It’s a pretty daunting menu if you ask me. Seriously. If you’re hungry and all you want is a quick and easy order of America’s favorite crispy, saucy bar food, you might be in for more than you bargained for. Your thought process might go something like, “Should I buy more because I get a price break? And that way I’ll have some leftovers? Do I want leftovers? Do I even get a price break? Does it make more sense to buy 5…10…15..20? Or should I be a rebel and buy 18…or 23…or 31? And w*f am I going to do with 31+ wings? Should I call my mom over to help me eat them? OMG, I’m not calling my mother over…..” Yeah. It’s getting a little weird.

But that’s okay because the Internet’s finest has been able to weigh in. Here’s what’s on everybody’s mind.

This user sought out a hard and fast rule of thumb:

While this user injects a little sarcasm along with his economical truth:

Then he goes on to point out that 200 wings are, in fact, considered “bulk:”

So this user jumps in and really breaks it down:

While this user really wants to get into the nitty gritty of it all:

And this one too. It’s starting to get serious:

Before really crunching numbers on a spreadsheet:

But seriously, that’s a lot of chicken wings for one order…

And then things just go off the rails with wild equations and lots of serious mathematical formulas that are making me hungry:

And then there were graphs:

And, then finally, a chart that brings this conundrum to a close:

Tell us, what are your thoughts? Are you just plain hungry or PO’d that it’s so complicated to order chicken wings at Danny’s Wok? Have you ever in your life seen something so detailed and complicated like this?
