Military Puppies Participate In Parade

One of the greatest things about the police is the dogs! Everyone’s a fan of police dogs because they’re not only adorable, but you know they’re incredibly smart. However, there’s one thing that’s even better than the adult police dogs — their puppies!

If you’re a fan of adorable puppies, then the video down below is definitely something you’re going to want to watch. If you’re not really a fan of dogs, the video is still going to be something you want to see.

In Santiago, Chile, they have an annual military parade, and numerous people go to watch. Unlike other times, this year, the ones that stole the show were the Golden Retriever puppies! These small, soon-to-be soldiers made everyone fall deep into their cuteness, and anyone would surrender.

What do I mean by soon-to-be soldiers? These puppies are future police dogs! Soon they’ll be walking alongside everyone rather than being carried around. They’ll go through training to become full-fledged members of their police dog community.

On September 19, 2018, the day of the parade, the Golden Retrievers were carried in highlighter yellow carriers which were strapped to the military members, and the pups looked tinier than usual. The dogs were also kept warm with heaters. You have to take care of your future police dogs, right?

These pups are not alone though. Right behind them are the fully-trained, and ready-to-go, older Golden Retrievers and Labradors. The adult dogs are a part of the unit or Chile’s armed forces.

But back to the stars of the show, according to a CNN video, the puppies are only 52-days-old.

In the march, there are nine puppies taking part in the parade. There are five females and four males. Girl power! (Yes, this encouragement includes puppies.) As the military women march, the faces of the puppies just pop out of the carrier, taking in the scene around them, hearing the loud band, and the stomps. One of the puppies even looks to be sleeping. Isn’t that cute?

It’s not just us going gaga over this cute footage. Users around the world are pouring in with comments and likes! One of the comments below the video reads, “The goodest of good boys,” and all we have to say to that is—true!!

If you want to see the Golden Retrievers marching—or rather being carried—in the parade, while looking effortlessly cute, then watch the video down below! Prepare to have your heart melted.
