Ever got the grocery list wrong? Has someone from home given you the task of doing groceries and even written out all the items you need, but you still end up getting the wrong stuff and having to hear about it after? I know I have. But, I think it’s safe to say that it’s understandable to mess up something as simple as a grocery run. If the list reads “Mustard,” how do you know which brand to get? If it says, “Orange Juice,” then is it with pulp or without? It’s easy to bring home the wrong product, but what about the wrong dog?
In one funny turn of events, a dad brought home the wrong dog from the groomer! What’s even funnier is that the man didn’t even notice until his son pointed out that that dog doesn’t look like the one that went to the groomer with dad — this one was someone else’s doggo!
The dog has been a part of this family for the last 10 years, so it only makes sense for dad to recognize the pup when he went to go pick him up, right? Well, I guess we assumed wrong. Dad needed a little bit of help picking up the right canine, and as unfortunate as it sounds, I can’t help but laugh at the situation. Since the dog has been in the family for so long, I’m sure dad thought that this has to be one of the easiest tasks to take care of for the weekend. Unfortunately, when he came home, his son Alex, had something else to tell him.
After notifying dad of leaving their actual dog at Petsmart, Alex turned to Twitter and posted a video on a social media platform alongside this message:
“MY DAD TOOK MY DOG TO PETSMART TO GET GROOMED AND HE CAME BACK WITH A DIFFERENT DOG AND DIDNT NOTICE UNTIL MY BROTHER AND I TOLD HIM SOMETHING.”
In the video, you can see Alex laughing out loud at the fact that his father couldn’t pick out the right dog, and the entire family is in hysterics!
