Two-Year-Old Rants About Airport Security

When traveling, what is your number one pet peeve? The packing? The trouble with getting everyone into one vehicle before finally getting to the airport? The time it takes to get to your destination? Struggling to get used to other timezones? If you said anything to do with airports, you’re already on the right track to two-year-old Mila Stauffer’s hilarious rant. You’re going to love this one, guys.

Mila, from Arizona, was on her way to Michigan with her family when several aspects of being at the airport made her unhappy. I think you can tell where this one is going.

The first thing that set her off was the line. “First of all, the line. So long! Ridiculous.” I feel you, Mila! I’m two decades older than you and still get antsy in long lines from time-to-time.

But, even when Mila and her family finally made it through the long line, the two-year-old wasn’t fond when the airport security made her put her sippy cup and shoes in one of those cubbies, to put on the conveyer belt. Never touch a two-year-old’s sippy cup and shoes, especially Mila’s!

Then something strange happened next. Mila entered a “spaceship” (AKA a metal detector). “I thought I was going to Michigan!” Mila shouted. I instantly crack up at this point each time I rewatch the video. Just the way she pronounces “Michigan” has me grinning from ear-to-ear. Such a cutie!

While Mila was taken out of the “spaceship” (whew, that was a close one), her older brother Charles had to be pat down by airport security, and little Mila was NOT happy about it at all. She rolls her eyes and says, “So embarrassing!” and explains how her family always has to “cause a scene” everywhere they go. At this point, Mila totally reminds me of Michelle from “Full House.”

As you watch the footage of Mila’s rant, filmed by her mom, they may relate to the young girl’s issues with the airport; many of us just never have the nerve to say it ourselves!

What’s one thing you dislike the most about the airport? What about the thing you like the most about the airport? I think many of us would say the rules and regulations are both the worst and best parts of it! They may be “annoying,” but they are they for a reason, right?

You’ll crack up when you watch the footage in the video below. So your friends can see and get a good laugh too, share on Facebook!
