Baby Sits Quietly In Dads Lap Until The Family Dog Starts A Game Of Fetch

I don’t know a dog who doesn’t like to play fetch. This time old tradition of back and forth has been entertaining pups for eons, and it’s just so darn simple. There’s nothing fancy or expensive about it. You hold a ball, throw it, wait for your funny pup to go get it and bring it back. Repeat. It’s great fun for your dog, but kind of boring as the owner. Especially if your dog enjoys the game beyond words!

But what about when your newborn baby really enjoys watching you and the dog play fetch? Well, then you have no choice but to keep playing!

The winter months were way too cold for Roxie the Siberian husky to play fetch outside. So, Katherine and David Bailey decided to bring the fun indoors. What they didn’t anticipate was how much fun their newborn baby would have being a part of the game!

Sitting on her dad’s lap in the living room, this baby girl is having the time of her life giggling away while dad takes the ball and throws it. Immediately, Roxie goes to fetch and bring it back, causing the baby to laugh out even louder. She is hysterically laughing, unable to stop herself, her little tiny face scrunched up and mouth wide open. Roxie obediently drops the ball on dad’s lap, eagerly waiting for him to throw it so she can go and get it! And this happens over and over again.

Again, the baby is in stitches laughing, and it’s absolutely contagious! It’s so joyful to hear the beautiful, bubbly sounds of a happy baby. Even dad’s cracking up at certain points, probably wondering why he’s spent all this money on high tech baby toys to keep her happy when really, all they need to do is play a simple game of fetch with the family dog! She is absolutely delighted!

The dog seems pretty happy, too. Mom’s got the camera, and now she’s in a state of giggles. This is a serious family affair of fetch that I’m pretty sure will happen more often after this hilarious outburst! Or at least until the dog tires out.
