Pets have the undeniable ability to crawl into our hearts and stay there. They just have this way of making us fall in love with them. They’re cute and quirky, funny and strange, and come loaded with personality, both cats, and dogs! And especially these two, Henry the dog, and Baloo, the cat who are a two-in-one package deal.
Doesn’t matter if you’re on team cat or team dog because Henry and Baloo are attached together and they will melt your heart. One doesn’t come without the other!
Proud owners and adventure seekers, Cynthia Bennett and her boyfriend from Colorado, USA, first met Henry at an adoption event. He wasn’t hard to miss. At only 14 weeks old, the pup stuck out amongst the other puppies because he was five times bigger than all of them! And the moment she actually met him, the deal was signed. Cynthia knew he was the dog they wanted to bring home. Turns out he really likes to climb and hike too.
The couple nicknamed him “Little Mountain Goat.” Shortly after, Cynthia decided she wanted another addition to the family. As luck would have it, she was able to locate a Siamese mix rescue kitten named Baloo, and it was love at first sight when Cynthia met Baloo and when Baloo met Henry.
And then Baloo started going on the trips too. “I get a lot of questions about how we got him used to it. But he really loves it. He really wants to go outside,” Cynthia says. “If I touch Henry’s leash, [Baloo] will start screaming at the door.” So Cynthia started harness training the kitty to see if it would stick. And it did. They love to go on adventures together, with Baloo perched atop Henry. Through rain or shine, snow or dunes, this sweet pair loves the great outdoors.
