3 Lynx Cross The Road And Woman Notices More Keep Coming

Living in Alaska has its animal sighting perks – with so much nature and far-reaching land, boasting few cities, the cold northern state is home to many wild beasts that wouldn’t be easily found close to dense urban sprawl.

Plus, smaller town living means bigger, fenceless backyards, and more forest and bush, perfect for nature lovers who want to live uninterrupted by development and concrete.

These surroundings are also perfect for animals to thrive, as witnessed by a woman driving home in rural Alaska. In her own neighborhood, not far from her final destination, she stops to take in the incredible sight of a chain of lynx crossing the road. The big cats nonchalantly, and conspicuously bounce over the snow and onto the road, totally unaware of the surprise and delight they’ve just stirred up.

The woman is making comments, saying how she can’t believe what she’s seeing, then “OH MY GOSH!” as another lynx appears to the right. And then another one. And another one. She is thrilled, catching all the excitement on her camera phone.

“Well that’s a treat and a half!” she exclaims, as the big felines majestically cross over and disappear. It must be feeding time for them because the woman then nervously declares, “I better go home and get my cat…”
