Ice cream is a go-to for many. Be it a bad day, a hot day, a miserable day – any day. It’s sweet and smooth and hits the empty spot every time without fail. Some eat it out of the tub, others from a bowl, on top of a slice of pie or in between cookies. I even love all the spin-offs like gelato, sorbet, nitro ice cream, and frozen yogurt both vegan and not vegan! If it’s cold and sweet and has a few fun ingredients in it like chocolate, coconut or almonds or is just straight-up smooth – I am all about it! Have I made you hungry for dessert yet
Whatever way you choose to consume this frosty treat, we all know that with epic flavor and sweet satisfaction comes the dreaded – dun dun dun – brain freeze. It happens to all of us at one point or another. Kids and cats too!
In this video, we see 19-month-old Ty get a toddler-sized spoonful of the chocolatey good stuff. Eager to try something new, Ty’s mouth is open and ready for the choo-choo train spoon to make a stop, and when it happens, his family goes wild.
Ty’s face immediately squishes up. He lets out a little cough and then a huge smile as he reaches to pat the back of his head a few times. He laughs but appears confused, yet still looks up towards the tub on the counter, clearly wanting to try his luck again.
Round two, and his parents are excited to do it all over again. Ty gets another mouthful, and he’s laughing this time as he lets the ice cream melt on his tongue. Moments later, his hand reaches up to cover his front teeth, and his face contorts a little. But, it’s quickly back to smiles and laughter for the little guy. This kid can’t get enough.
By round three, Ty knows what to expect. He knows that with the yumminess comes the mild temporary headache – and the happy camper couldn’t care less! NOw that he’s aware, he’s hooked and prepared to face the subzero delight for the rest of his life. Welcome to the club buddy!
