The story we’re about to share with you today will give you all the feels. It’s a heartwarming story that also doesn’t cease to break your heart, but one that leaves you with a big smile on your face at the end. It’s about Amanda and a dog named Bear, and this is how their tale goes.
Amanda heard about Bear being an abandoned stray dog, who was lost in the mountains of Evan’s Creek. She decided to help locate this dog almost immediately and took her friend Dylan with her on the mission.
Although they were successful in finding the lost pup, it wasn’t so easy to gain his trust. They tried coaxing Bear for about an hour or so, but when their attempts failed, the girls decided that it was better to try again tomorrow. When their plan to rescue him failed even the following day, Amanda and Dylan figured that it was time to get creative; Amanda would play dead and lay on the ground in the area where Bear will eventually see her.
As soon as Bear came around, he showed this instinct of wanting to help this human laying on the ground. At first, when he came by, they were hopeful that their plan was a hit; but, the canine just sniffed her and decided to walk away. He then returned about an hour later and this time sat right beside her. It took the next two hours for Amanda to win over his trust, but Bear eventually figured that the woman wasn’t there to harm him.
They eventually managed to take him into their car and drive the pup to the vet where he could get the best medical attention. He was looked after, and soon enough a family reached out to adopt Bear and give him a forever home. It’s too bad that Amanda couldn’t keep the pup, but her efforts are truly appreciated!
