Brooklyn Chase, her daughter, Thea, and her brother live in a house with a vast backyard in Menominee County.
Missing Thea
One day, Brooklyn’s world crumbled when her two-year-old daughter went missing along with their two dogs.
Where Is She?
She asked for help from the police, who brought K-9 units to help trace Thea and their family dogs down. They searched the woods and the entire area but they didn’t find the missing toddler.
The Search Continues
50 people had stepped up to help with the search. However, the K-9 units were having a hard time tracing Thea because of the family’s farm animals.
She’s Here!
Eventually, after 5 long hours, a local on an ATV spotted Thea along the ATV track, sleeping with her head resting on one of the dogs.
Her Protectors
According to the local, while the toddler was using one dog as a makeshift pillow to sleep on, the other larger dog was just a few steps away, guarding her.
3 Miles From Home
We can only imagine how a little girl wandered 3 miles away from home barefoot, but all we know for sure is that her loyal companions didn’t leave her side and protected her for all the hours she was far from home.
Grateful Mom
Brooklyn wanted to thank everyone who helped with the search for her missing child. She’s now gotten a breath of relief now that she knows her little girl is safe. Thanks to their loyal and trustworthy dogs.
