Eventually, Norma got married to Charles Matthews on Valentine’s Day in 1943 and bore three children. Unfortunately, they lost one of their daughters at the age of 2.

On the other hand, Edy got married to Leo “Chick” Antonecchi just three months after Norma’s wedding. They had two sons, one of whom passed away in 2018.

Sad Story

Sadly, Norma and Edy are both widowers now after Leo got into a car accident in 1994 and Charles suffered from Alzheimer’s. They both passed away within several months of each other.

Living Together

Norma and Edy decided to move to Florida together and live in a mobile home park. They go to church, the supermarket, and senior citizen events with the help of their friends and neighbors.

For their 100th birthday, about 50 people came to St. Petersburg to celebrate with them in December 2021.

Both Norma and Edy are surely happy to have journeyed their lives together. Norma said, “We couldn’t be without each other,” while Edy stated, “We came together, we go together.”
