On July 4, Salima took 18 disabled dogs on a trip to the beach.

Dogs on wheels surprisingly run as fast as their non-disabled friends, and it’s hard not to smile while watching them savor the moment.

But They Can Also Be Cheeky

The dogs have a great time playing on the sand. One of the dogs tried to be cheeky by stealing one of Salima’s slippers, but he returned it right after playfully nibbling on it.

A Hand To Hold

When asked about how the shelter is going, Salima told the Story Trender, “In total, we have close to 600 animals in the Sanctuary, including dogs, cats, donkeys, and monkeys.”
