Baby Squirrel Returns To Her Rescuers’ House Every Day For 8 Years

This baby squirrel unexpectedly became a part of the family that rescued her.

Together with three other squirrels, Bella was rescued by a family of rehabilitators from an owl attack.

She Was Weak And Fragile

Among all four, Bella was the only one who couldn’t open her eyes yet.

They Took Care Of Her

The Harrisons, a family of animal rehabilitators, gave all the care and love that Bella needed until she could finally be released into the wild.

Letting Her Go

When she got enough strength to survive on her own, she was released into the wild, together with the other three squirrels.

But She Still Goes Back

However, after her release, Bella would still go back to the Harrisons’ house almost every day to say hi and grab some nuts.

Her Playmate

The Harrisons’ youngest son was only 4 years old when he first played with Bella, and they’ve seen both of them grow up. Their son is 12 now and Bella’s still there to keep him company.

One day, Bella went home with an “injury” so the family took her in, but as they were observing her, they realized she just had her babies.
